Please note that land planning documentation is in the process of approval. After the approval (forecasted for the end of 2008) more detailed information will be available. As a result, information presented here is for informative purposes only and may be subject to change.

  • The minimum size of an individual land lot is 3,000m2.
  • The price of each plot includes paved roads and sidewalks decorated with lawns, trees and benches, street lights, electricity, water supply and sewage systems. All systems are brand new and are built specifically for Valaste development area. Additionally, new residential are includes recreational areas for children and adults (tennis, basketball) with sidewalks suited for cycling.
  • Most importantly, plots are located right near the 32m high waterfall (with amazing viewing platform), a nice cafe and a sizable parking space. The waterfall and beautiful surroundings at 55m high plato overseeing Finnish bay has become a prime tourist destination in Estonia. Finally, at the foot of the plato and the waterfall a sandy beech and waters of Baltic sea welcome its guests.
  • Valaste project is set to become the first new city-like residential area since Estonia regained its independence in 1991 for main local towns of Jõhvi and Kohtla-Järve for everyday living.
  • Valaste has excellent approaches from local towns (Jõhvi - 10km, Kohtla-Järve - 6km) and Tallinn-Narva motorway (5km); it is approximately 158km from Tallinn, 60km from Narva, 60km from Rakvere and 180km from Saint-Petersburg.
  • The price of 1m 2 is currently estimated at 300-350EEK/m2 (approx. 19-23EUR). Reservations are made with minimum 10% payment.
